This statement is published by SVEMA UK GROUP LIMITED in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
SVEMA UK GROUP LIMITED is not currently required to publish a statutory statement as annual turnover is below the £36 million threshold. However, we voluntarily publish this statement to demonstrate our commitment to ethical business practices, transparency and responsible supply chain management.
Our Organisation
SVEMA UK GROUP LIMITED was incorporated in January 2026 and operates as a UK legal entity within a wider European group structure.
We supply hand hygiene and infection prevention products to healthcare and commercial customers within the UK. Operational delivery is supported by third-party logistics providers and European manufacturing partners.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain primarily includes European manufacturers, packaging suppliers, logistics and warehousing providers, and UK distribution partners.
We expect all suppliers and business partners to operate in compliance with applicable labour laws and internationally recognised human rights standards. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking.
Policies and Governance
SVEMA UK GROUP LIMITED operates the following policies:
- Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
- Whistleblowing Policy
- Ethical procurement and supplier management controls
These policies apply to directors, employees, contractors, suppliers and business partners.
Responsibility for compliance and oversight sits at Director level.
Due Diligence
Supplier due diligence is conducted during onboarding and periodically thereafter. This includes assessment of:
- Geographic and sector risk
- Supplier ethical and labour standards policies
- Contractual compliance requirements
- Ongoing supplier engagement and monitoring
Manufacturing and logistics sectors may present inherent risks. These are managed through proportionate risk assessment and supplier controls.
Monitoring and Training
Relevant personnel involved in procurement and supplier management receive awareness guidance regarding modern slavery risks and reporting procedures.
Director-level governance oversight is maintained, supported by internal review processes, whistleblowing mechanisms and supplier performance monitoring.
Performance
No instances of modern slavery have been identified within our operations or direct supply chain.
Future Commitments
Over the coming period, SVEMA UK GROUP LIMITED will continue to strengthen its approach to ethical sourcing by:
- Extending supplier risk assessment processes
- Continuing staff awareness and training programmes
- Enhancing supply chain due diligence
